You could buy a charger from a retailer that sells Skil, but as far as I know you can still buy an adjustable voltage power unit from Radio Shack. I have used an old transformer from a model train set, but it was tricky to set the voltage on that with no control-I just turned it up enough to make a light spark, then came back to it later and turned it up a little, wait-repeat, wait-repeat. That was a while back, poor peoples gots poor ways....
